Have you ever had any where you got lucky and don’t normally?

Two come to mind for me

The first, I was at butlins and my dh was trying to win on the darts game. He didn’t particularly want the prize but was goaded in to it by the bloke.

I think he had 3-4 goes before finally admitting defeat. He encouraged me to have a go, and I declined saying I was rubbish at it. Anyway the bloke got involved so I agreed to have one go.

I won first time! The bloke was like and my dh was not impressed

Second one was, we were down to our last £10 for the week and we needed to get some stuff from the shop. On a whim I bought a £1 scratch card with what I had left. I won £40 and was chuffed to bits as it lasted me till pay day

My family joke how lucky I am.

Played hoopla at a fair, won £20 three times and banned from playing as took all the winnings.

Won bottle of Whisky in the pub quiz raffle.

Won a camera in a lucky dip.

There are numerous other examples of flukes.

It goes both ways though as I got a diagnosis of a condition affecting 7 in a million people!

Oo another one I wanted to get a better buggy for dd. I sold my phone and got enough to get a buggy I wanted. Travelled to kiddicare and got there to find out the buggy I wanted was actually a discontinued item however they would check stocks to see if there was any left. There was. One!

My gran was really lucky, she'd always win at bingo. Italian Bingo is for prizes not money so she'd always come back with a hamper/new kettle/giant toy etc. I used to love going with her!

I wonder how it happens really
