Job interview-what to wear?

I've been a SAHM for 11 years and would like to get back into work. I don't have much experience and only GCSE's.

I've been offered an interview for a parcel sorter role. But what do I wear to the interview?

I'm a jeans and t shirt/cardigan person because I've not need to dress up for years.

Perhaps not jeans but smart (ish) trousers or skirt and a shirt would be fine. Is it a role where you will be on your feet all day - where sensible shoes so that they can see you are a 'practical' sort of person Grin.

I returned to work after 12 years as a SAHM ... just wore a skirt and cardigan ... got the job, when I changed jobs two years later I wore exactly the same outfit .... and got the job Grin. Clearly a lucky skirt!

Smart trousers, shoes and a blouse would be fine for this, I would expect.
