Has any one else had this prescribed? GP prescribed it yesterday after a quick phone consultation. My face is on fire!

Yes, I hated it for that reason, plus it broke me out.

I think it's best to ease in to be fair (which i didn't know at the time). Very very very small amounts in a thin layer, nowhere near eyes, nose or mouth, a few nights a week and build up towards every other night and then to every night over time, use moisturiser to buffer depending on whether the leaflet says you should do that before or after.

I never had the willpower to try and adjust to it sadly, I found the dryness and soreness too much and gave up very quickly.

If you've put lots on and it's very sore honestly I'd wash it off carefully asap, put a basic well tolerated moisturiser on and wait until things are calm again before retrying with far less, selectively applied and seeing how it goes.

I've washed my face again. I think I slapped too much on.
