Can anybody tell me how to remove the cover of this light fixture. I have tried upscrewing it (it is not a screw top) pulling it, yanking it down, there is no lever in the side to 'pop'. The bulb has been gone for 2 weeks and I cant shower in the dark any longer!

Sadly, I think this might be one that has a miniscule hole which needs to be opened with the right tool. My bathroom lights are similar.

I literally have to remove them with a dental instrument.

The first time I did it, I was thinking someone who wore glasses might have not seen it. Have you had a good look at it with a magnifying glass?

If it has a small hole which needs a small tool pushed into it - use an unfolded paperclip

Thank you for replying. I had a good look and there doesn't seem to be a small hole, somenof the plastic has been chipped away on one side

Do you push it in and it pops out?

Moooooooooooooooooo · 13/04/2021 10:41

Maybe push then twist?

Ours has two unbelievably tiny, fiddly screws that need to be unscrewed.

If you rent - ask the landlord.
If you own - get an electrician to take the useless thing down and replace it with something with more accessible bulbs.
It will be £ well spent.

We had one that had a plate attached to the ceiling then the fixture kind of screwed/latched on - so try rotating the whole fitting.

Thanks everyone. I've finally badgered the landlord into sending someone
