Hi all

Ive been given tickets for horrible histories drive in stage show this weekend, ds is 4 I've no idea what to expect & the website just says no age restrictions. Does anyone have any idea if it would be suitable? Thank you!

I don't think it would be unsuitable as such but not sure if a 4 year old would necessarily get it or find it that funny! I think my DD started enjoying HH around age 7/8

emmylousings · 12/04/2021 20:30

It's really good, we loved it but DS was 7/8. A 4 year old won't get as much from it, but would probably still laugh; as it's pretty silly, and you will too!

I wouldn’t, I took mine when they 7 and 9 and my 7 year old had nightmares for weeks about being beheaded. It was on stage but had interactive bits when you put on glasses and she couldn’t cope with those bit.

I agree. He wont be traumatised but I dont think he will get it

It will be lost (but not unsuitable) for a 4 year old, but you'll love it. So on that basis definitely go!

I went several times as an adult and loved it. I don't have kids. You'll get more out of it than he will. But it's brilliant!!

Thanks everyone, i think we will go it sounds like it prob won't upset him & we might both have a laugh :-)

I took my then seven year old twins and four year old to see it a few years ago. They all loved it as did my husband and I (I learned loads I didn’t know, my seven year son already knew everything having watched it on tv 🙄.) I would highly recommend it and hope it comes back to a theatre near me soon so we can return.

Stealthynamechange · 13/04/2021 06:18

Thank you @myview2 sounds like it was a hit! I'm going to do it!
