In England its the first day of many things being open. I've taken my kids (4 and 1) to the farm park today. A bit cold but lovely to be somewhere different Smile

What is anyone else doing or planning to do with our (relative) freedom?

We went to a farm park too! It was so lovely to see my two LOs and other kids happy and after that, we found a small random cafe in a local high street where there were less people and had lunch sitting outside. It was fab to see people back out on the high street, in shops and just milling around. A bit cold tho'!

I went for my second vaccine first thing and a takeaway coffee afterwards - exactly the same as lockdown. However, DH came with me this time for the trip and we then drove to a nearby country park (vaccine out of town). Nice to have the choice though.

A pub garden and shopping trip planned later in the week.

We didn't do anything we couldn't have done yesterday. I couldn't face the shops with DC and don't have enough money anyway. We hung around the house and played in the garden. I booked to go to a local animal park though (very local, 10mins walk) later in the week.

working from home, just heading out for a walk or run (can't decide how energetic i feel). Everything still closed here :(

I'm off this week and DD went to the park with her cousin so DH and I hit the charity shops, couldn't face the real shops. Got hearty outdoor activities with friends and pub visits booked in later in the week

Woke up by the seaside (arrived late last night), went to the beach, was 'in' a pub by 12.01 having a pint of cider and a pasty. Napped on the beach this afternoon, now shopping for child's clothes.

Put a bench together and did some sewing .. I can’t see what the excitement is about. I don’t want to sit outside in the cold at a pub. Or go shopping with a bloody mask on still.

Nothing different to normal lockdown days. But I might go to the shops at the weekend/ on my day off :)

Wedding outfit fitting first thing this morning.

Drove to a camp site near Grandmas, visited a farm park, had a picnic, went on a lovely walk in the forest of dean with her before we all had dinner in a pub garden. My little boy is now asleep in the camper, so slightly concerned about what time he will wake up.
