How long did it take for you to get taste back?

I haven’t done the test yet (doing it today) so I don’t know if I have CV or not but I have no sense of taste right now.

I can feel it’s cold or hot, still or fizzy but the actual taste is gone

Let’s say I do have it, how long does it take for taste to come back?

If I don’t, what else could it be?

I got mine back after a couple of days of testing +ive for CV but I ALWAYS loose my taste when I have a cold; I hadn't realised it was really uncommon! OH didn't get his taste back for 4 months and it still isn't right. Swings in roundabouts in all honesty, some people didn't loose it at all that I know.

Mine was back immediately, DP’s still hasn’t returned, nor his sense of smell. We had it October-ish.

I’ve got what I thought was a bad cold but I’ve never lost my taste before with a cold, hence why I’m taking the test just in case
