Nothing unusual / lumps etc. Both sides although right worse than left. No rash. Nothing.

So could be
A) menopause?
B) slight allergy to laundry stuff?
C) a sign they’re just tired of life ?

Has anyone had itchy tits pliz

scratchy

Could be laundry. Had similar when hand-washed bras in too-soapy water and didn't properly rinse. Didn't half itch for a couple of weeks despite rewashing all bras. You have my sympathy

GCAcademic · 12/04/2021 10:24

I'm perimenopausal and have horrendous itchy skin (I assumed the two are connected). Tits are the worst, followed closely by abdomen and back. I have to constantly slather myself in Aveevo.

Thank you both of you! Yes got up in the night to slather.

It could be menopause. My mums going through it at the minute and is really itchy. I think boobs itch because they’re sweaty and strapped in bras all day!

Also there could be a physiological element to it. Because they’ve been itchy your expecting them to be itchy so they do itch. Brains are weird. It’s like when someone says nits and everyone scratches their head

Fashio · 12/04/2021 11:06

Ha. Thank you. I’ll hold off the doctor then

Mine itch when I have my period? I assume hormonal

Tellmeagain · 12/04/2021 12:19

Mine were incredibly itchy when I was newly pregnant!

toto23 · 12/04/2021 12:21

My tits are so bloody itchy when I have heartburn, a couple of swigs of gaviscon and I'm sorted .

Regulation15Notice · 12/04/2021 12:23

mine were itchy in the first trimester of both pregnancies...any chance?

HarleyQuinnn · 12/04/2021 12:36

Me too!! Well, just the one itchy nipple & it's also leaky, my Gp told me to try antihistamines and give it a couple of weeks and if no improvement to book another appointment. Maybe give them a try?

reesewithoutaspoon · 12/04/2021 12:45

mine used to get really itchy just before my period. has eased since meno

MiaMarshmallows · 12/04/2021 12:47

Leaky nipple isn't that a alarm signal for something more serious?

(Responding to HarleyQuinn)

reesewithoutaspoon · 12/04/2021 12:48

umm Harley has your GP not referred you on. Discharge from a nipple needs investigating unless you are pregnant or breastfeeding or recently stopped.

MiaMarshmallows · 12/04/2021 12:49

Most cases are harmless (nipple discharge) and due to benign conditions but surprised the GP has ignored it.

HarleyQuinnn · 12/04/2021 13:15

He didn't seem concerned, he gave me an examination, there was no lumps, no change in skin or anything, and no visible discharge while he was feeling for lumps so he just sent me on my way. I'm only 28, and just told me to go back if the discharge is bloody or the antihistamines don't stop the itching.

I'm not pregnant or breast feeding.

Fashio · 14/04/2021 10:17

Well I have decided to go to the doctors about it now. I’m
Itching both sides and I’m starting to become a obsessed by it!

Same here.

Tried and failed to get through to doc today. Googled inflammatory breast cancer and pagets and I don’t have the symptoms of either.

Fashio · 19/04/2021 17:17

Result! No lump but she agrees one boob fuller than the other. Referred.

Irishterrier · 19/04/2021 17:25

How odd @Fashio - what does she think it is?

Fashio · 19/04/2021 21:29

Aw thanks for asking. Dunno. Itching might be menopause. But one boob def feels weird

OP posts:
Irishterrier · 19/04/2021 21:53

I had random itching in lockdown. Mostly back but also on left boob.

I went to the doc and she said nothing to worry about. I put it down to generalised anxiety about lockdown, plus endless hot baths making my skin dry.

I hope yours is nothing and clears up.

Fashio · 20/04/2021 20:53

Ah. Now I like a bath
