I haven’t seen him on the TV since he was in power. He looks EXACTLY the same.

To be fair, he looked 80 when he was 40.

I said the same to DP. A few more lines and a lockdown hairdo aside but he does look the same. He must have looked old when he was PM!

That's odd because when I saw him on TV earlier I was thinking how much he has aged but then I realized how many years have passed since he was PM. I think as others have said, he has always looked older than he is.

We were having this conversation during the Remembrance Service 18 months or so ago. I was amazed to learn he was only 47 when he became PM. He just didn't look it!
Blair & Cameron were both in their early 40s when they became PM but, if you compare pictures of them when they took office with those of Major, they look decades younger.

This reminds me of when Jim Bowen died in 2018... I was surprised because a) I thought he was already dead and b) I was surprised that he was only 80 when he died. So I looked it up and I couldn't believe that when he was presenting Bullseye in the mid 80s he was only in his 40s I always thought of him as like an old bloke!

Maybe people just looked older back in the day? There was a ridiculous thing on Twitter a few months back which compared footballers from the 80s, who were in their 20s but all looked about 63...
