Can someone suggest their favourite mystery / crime / spooky based internet rabbit holes to lose myself please?

My favourite pastime is to stumble across something interesting then spending hours googling things about it.

My latest was deathonmydoorstep.com where I spent hours reading about historical deaths.

Can anyone recommend any sites that are interesting similar to this? Or mysteries, unexplainable events etc.

Thanks!

Been reading recently about Sir John Franklin’s ill-fated expedition to find the north-west passage that is the subject of the book The Terror and series 1 of the TV drama that’s currently on iPlayer.

Don’t worry, reading about the actual voyage wont spoil either the book or TV show if you want to read/watch.

This thread on Digital Spy. It's been going since 2010 and is still updated now - Real Life Mysteries that have Intrigued and Baffled you. Some of them are quite sad, for example the McStay family disappearance.

I find the Tamam Shud case fascinating and the Neil Dovedale mystery (now solved but such an intriguing story). Could be worth a Google if you like unexplained mysteries/unsolved cases. I can get lost on Wikipedia for ages. I also like tales of old Hollywood, people like Mary Pickford, Clara Bow and Olive Thomas. Now there's a strange and sad story..
