What the hell is a tampliner?

Used to have a sanpro subscription box and thought I'd look into them again. What the heck is a tampliner? Have googled but they sound horrendous, hoping it's just the way it's described.

Could be a panty liner as back up with a Tampon? Doesn't sound very comfortable though does it?!

It's sounds so uncomfortable that I feel I must be missed something

Is it a tampon attached to a liner? I think I saw a link on fb
