Has anyone managed to turn a lacklustre job into a wonderful career in their middle age?
I have worked in same place for past 10 years. I do my job well but feel like the culture at my work just isnt right for me (I think theres some ageism at play, fair amount of bullying, just pretty toxic). The flexibility is what keeps me there as it fits with my childcare needs.
I'm worried that I'm becoming less employable as I get older. I'm doing a vocational qualification in my current profession to try to compensate for this (funded by myself and in my own time)
Just after some inspiration really!
