Recommend me an iron that works please

Maybe it's me, but I've never had a good iron!

I'm willing to spend up to £100! Any recommendations?

I have one of these. I’ve had it for a couple of years and I’ve never had any problems with it.

I recommend you just don't bother ironing. I haven't for years. It works and is totally liberating. 😃

I don't even know where my iron is, haven't ironed since 2013.

I still have my iron from 40 years ago, and it still works fine,and it would have been a cheap one anyway. I don't ever go in for fancy brands of stuff.. But don't do much ironing anymore,but my iron does still work fine,,as I used it a few weeks ago,, to press some curtains that I bought online, that were a bit creased when out of the packing box.

And, to add to my oldie iron, I still have an ironing board that my late Grandfather made in 1944,he was a dab hand at woodwork,and he made it for my late Grandmother in the war. My late Mum inherited later, and now it's mine, and still going strong.
