Had a chilled out day, which is particularly good as the last couple of days I have been in a menopausal rage! Just awful! Looking forward to homemade meat & potato pie with petitpois & lashings of gravy for tea. Disappointed there’s no Corrie as the airwaves have been taken over by news about Prince Philip. Very sad but I think it’s gone a bit crazy. There’s only so much they can say. Might look for a film or start a new box set on Netflix. DD12 ate earlier & is in her room. Due to come off her phone in about 10 minutes. I was very impressed with her technical knowledge when she was showing DF how to use his Smartphone. We went round for his birthday. Shame more fuss couldn’t be made but it was lovely just to spend time with him & DM.

Kids in bed and about to have a glass of wine after a busy week of getting the house ready for valuation today - strange having someone in our house today and I was feeling very self conscious and went ott cleaning. Hoping for a relaxed weekend with plenty of energy to play with the kids. Feeling sad about HRH and missing my own grandparents due to travel restrictions.

Not much, DH is zooming for work, DD procrastinates on finishing a paper. I still have to put my foot up, so I read and duolingo like mad and still do not do any housework.
DS got a vacc. invite and started stressing out about the procedure (way to center, unknown people, unknown area etc.), luckily it coincided with GP rollout, so I made sure he could go to his GP and he slowly calmed down again and returned to minecraft.

Husband and I just sitting watching Dragons Den which I recorded.

We had mixed salad and chicken pieces with roastd red onion for dinner. We’ve recently (this week) decided to cut down on bread and potatoes.

Craving fish n chips for tomorrow 😆

DP and I have had a Chinese and getting ready to watch gogglebox and the circle final. He’s feeling a bit under the weather since his second Covid jab and I’ve got a sympathy headache 😂 so lots of sofa blankets and relaxing for us

Just had an Ubereats now relaxing with a cup of tea.
Dcs on various devices and I’m watching couples dine with me on Netflix. It’s so cringe 😬. Dh has gone out for a few hours for work. I’ll probably head up to bed soon, feeling a bit low energy tonight.

I've just finished carving rotisserie bbq chicken with baked potato.
Watching Harry Potter and DD is upstairs face timing her mate and cackling away
Partner is night fishing.

Massive pot of spaghetti bolognaise bubbling on the hob and I'm having a red wine watching all the Duke of Edinburgh tributes.

I’m on here. Dh watching Zero Zero Zero, ds1 playing guitar in his room, dd FaceTiming her friend, ds2 on his xbox.

Glass of wine, trying to avoid the wall to wall Prince Philip coverage. Ridiculous that the BBC isn't showing anything else.

Both DS's are in their rooms, DH is on the laptop and I'm considering sloping off into the bath any minute now..

DM just left after helping out with childcare so I could work, as she does every Friday.

DS and I are snuggled on the sofa watching Ghostbusters. He’s a bit little for it, so fast forwarding the scary bits

I slow cooked a lamb shoulder while I was working, so DM and I have eaten far too much shawarma and I’m feeling a bit uncomfy. Planning to get into a hot bath or my bed very soon with a big glass of wine and some trash on the laptop. It’s been a hectic, shitty week at work with far too many nights burning the 2am oil, so I feel like I’ve earned it and won’t fret about the many many emails I should be answering instead. They can wait for a change.

I'm watching Friday night dinner (in honour of Paul Ritter) with ds2. Ds1 is on the PlayStation. Dh has vanished.
I'm pleasantly full of curry and wine. Diet starts on Monday so I'm indulging this weekend with impunity.

I'm watching teen wolf and drinking wine. DH is in another room drinking beer and watching football. DS1 is upstairs online with friends and DS15 is outside in our garden with 5 friends around the firepit.

Had takeaway for tea, after a long long walk in the hills with the dogs (rarer than rare day off). Grandchild no 3 is asleep upstairs, DD and her BF are watching Netflix and DH and I are watching a film on Sky..... something about the channel tunnel.

Feeling a bit sad about PP and HM this evening.

I’m sat in the car in the carpark of a naice supermarket with my OH listening to the football...DD is working her last shift in there before she, hopefully, goes back to Uni next week.

Peed off that Gardeners World isn’t on.

Earlier we watched the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Later H and I will start series 2 of Fleabag and have some beer.

I have just returned from Aldi and bought a few groceries - wine for later and a compact food processor. I tested it out and made breadcrumbs for the freezer. This is the rock and roll Friday night lifestyle I lead.

DS is in bed and im part whatsapping DP, part mumsnetting, part watching Chicago Fire and part browsing Next's website

I'm watching Masterchef with a sleeping toddler on my lap. I'll put him in his bed when I can be bothered to stand up. DH is upstairs trying to get DS1 to sleep. When they are both down we will eat some of DH's birthday cake and watch Line of Duty. I'll probably do a bit of work on my laptop too.

DC1 and DH are watching Dr Who, DC2 has finally gone to sleep. I am eating a chocolate mousse before doing the washing-up and going to bed.
