Well I just wasted 3 hours of my life.

Painted 1 fence panel, took me 3 hours as it's really fiddly and trying very hard not to drip etc. Anyway as I'm getting to the end the paint started to be lighter, I never mixed it. I painted the whole thing. with the layer of oil off the top. Redone about half of it but I've given up now.
In my defence I've never got outdoor paint before and assumed it might be different.

Whoops! I feel your pain though, I’ve just started to paint my fence panels from wood to black and altho not too bothered about spills my side, I’m so paranoid about it going onto next doors side of the fence so I’m using a tiny paintbrush for the tops so it’s taking a loooooong time!

I’ve spent hours on it and I’ve done one panel and a gate
