Dying inside for her

Dd is having a uni interview right now. I'm in the next room - NOT listening in. But it's pretty obvious that she isn't interacting with the group at all, not answering any of the questions just sitting there doodling. I want to just go and give her a bloody shake!!!

What's the course?

Aquamarine1029 · 08/04/2021 15:01

She's not responding to questions asked of her?

SnuggyBuggy · 08/04/2021 15:02

Maybe virtual group interviews aren't her thing. I'd hate this myself, I find group zooms alone bad enough without it being an interview.

Spied · 08/04/2021 15:03

How can you see her?

squashyhat · 08/04/2021 15:06

Stop eavesdropping and go an do.something useful.

SirPhillipsgroupie · 08/04/2021 16:43

She might need time to warm up, it’s also a a very unnatural way to be interviewed. Is this one she really wants?

IpreferInchyraBlue · 08/04/2021 16:47

Hopefully it will be one of those where the interview doesn't really matter. DD1 and DD2 both had "interviews" that made no difference to their offers, it was more so that they could get a feel for the uni. Fingers crossed for her. This is a challenging time for so many DC.

Insomnia5 · 08/04/2021 16:51

Is she nervous? I’m sure there’ll be plenty of others a bit tongue tied

Ginmakesitallok · 08/04/2021 17:37

Poor love is exceptionally nervous, and online interviews just don't suit her. I was in next room- glass doors between us. I was working. We'll just have to wait and see.
