Delayed development 4 year old

My 4 year old is in the process of an EHCP. He speaks, engages more and does a lot more at home with me and is making good progress. I have recently just tested the waters with an ABA programme and they have spoke about generalisation in that my son is so different at home and at nursery and that an ABA tutor can try and bridge that gap between home and nursery. My question is has anyone had this experience? If so do you know of any useful methods to bridge a gap like this? I’m not sure if ABA is the way forward as the tasks they set my son he can do and learn quickly it’s just that he doesn’t show it at nursery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
