You know it's going to be a long day when...

I got woken up at 5am by DP heading out to golf for the day, the dogs then decided it was morning and have been playing loudly, oldest DC has woken up not feeling very well (never poorly so when she complains she doesn't feel well she's normally not) and baby DC is waking up and I've ran out of coffee

Does anyone else ever wake up knowing it's going to be a long rubbish day

Oh god I feel your pain. I couldn't get to sleep until 1am (anxiety from workload) then git woken up at 5am by DH doing a HIIT workout downstairs. DD1 then woke with diarrhoea (mango smoothie last night I think) and woke DD2 up. We have ran out of milk so can't have tea/coffee.
My car is in garage so I have to go collect it later (not sure how I'm getting there as DH gone to work) and the bill is £520 Shock
I have a hard day of coursework ahead of me - around 5K words to write and then referencing (I hate it!)
Somehow have to try to amuse two fed up primary school children at same time who are cross that I can't ferry them around to parks/gardens to see friends.

Pretty much every day at the moment due to caring for elderly parents and the constant drama that involves.

Thankfully I don't have a golf playing DH to wake me up and I have lots of coffee.

How long until you can get coffee? I have to say that is about the only thing that gets me out of bed these days!

JMAngel1 I don't envy you managing DC and uni work. Referencing is stressful enough without managing DC.

MintyCedric sorry to hear you have drama with caring responsibilities. It really is hard going.

I can drive to the shops to coffee but I'm weighing up if big DC is going to be sick or not anytime soon, I think that would be the cherry on top for me to drag them out in the car and end up cleaning sick.

Oh God I hate it when someone else feels sick...it's not even so much the cleaning up as the ever present wondering when I'm going to catch it!

My DH is getting up for work every day at 5am at the moment. It's killing me (sure it's worse for him 🙈)
The thing that would kill me there is the lack of coffee. Could you Just Eat a Costa. I know a bit decadent but on the face of a £500+ car Bill not much. Then you don't need to worry about older DD and can get ready and have a lovely coffee then when you've picked up the car but a huge jar.
Hope your day improves.

When you find out your beloved cleaner can't come today as arranged.
