What is this spot (pic attached)

I have had this hard spot/boil on my nose for about 5 days now, it's reddish and then a bit white when I stretch it and is raised. It is really really sore. What is it?
I have googled and says I might need antibiotics but feel a bit daft calling gp for it! Anyone know what will help it? Thanks

I'd just put some savlon on it. If its a boil it'll help burst it and not get infected.

Thanks...I have savlon so I'll try that. I've tried tee tree and sudacrem
