There's a mouse in our bedroom

We had one in the kitchen a few weeks ago, it was so active we caught it in a trap the same night. But now, there's no signs of any mice downstairs but my slippers are clearly being nibbled. It's getting worse so I know it's not just the slippers fraying on their own (bought them last month)

So! What do I do? 😭 I don't particularly want to hear a trap going off under the bed in the night 😱 how should we catch it? I want it gone. I suppose I need to wash everything that's on the floor (clothes, bedding waiting to be put away) and clear the floor and hoover it, pull out the bed and hoover under there too. Anything else?

If you have had two mice you will probably have more in reality. I’m afraid you will probably have to resort to poison.

Buy a humane trap. It's the only kind way to deal with mice.

Not just the floor - I used to work on a hospital ward and saw a mouse run over a lady's bed cover. Sorry unhelpful.

I used formula b when we had mice outside. There were about five of them its horrible but it worked.
