What are people doing with DC during these lockdown Easter holidays?

Older DC ages 11 and 9.
Completely fed up of walking and playgrounds.

I’m feeling guilty that they haven’t left the house since Easter Sunday Blush (they have done exercise).

Attempted to force them out to a playground this morning but they are both resisting (SEN) and it’s really not worth the bother.

But what else is there to do?

Is anyone else in the same situation?

Yes indeed @mammmamia - super cold here in the SE. We are currently selling our house and get turfed out regularly end of afternoon for viewings so make the most of wrapping up very warm and doing picnics daily whilst house gets viewed! It’s freezing today - but the kids (and dog) seem to not mind!

@Navigationcentral good for you - that sounds tough but the DC never seem to mind the cold do they!

This thread has made me realise I need to chill out a bit and let them on their screens a bit more!

7 and 5 yo here. The eldest has been in the bath for the last 2 hours. Not 100% sure what the youngest is doing, endless youtube I think. We've both got a couple of days off next week but not sure what we will actually do with them, board games and walks I guess Hmm

The weather isn't really helping much is it? We have had my parents over for a bbq, been on two Easter egg hunts(one at nt place and one local one)and played mini golf. Otherwise- yes, walks in the park- again!- but at least there's a slightly bigger choice of parks now and my 7 year old can entertain himself running around in circles so he's quite happy!. Slightly annoyed that we chose to have this week off when there's more open next week. May half term will hopefully be better!

I'm in isolation so absolutely nothing. Thankfully they are old enough to entertain themselves and have been out playing with friends for most of it.

When it was nice last week we had a bbq, played together in the garden, went to the park daily.

Now this week it's cold, I'm wfh, and have lost my will to go go go, so it's screens and chilling out I'm afraid.

It's sort of ridiculous they're getting so much time off for Easter when they're only back to school.
