Mixed race curls - hair salon suggestions in surrey

Now that the are reopening back up I'd like to know of peoples personal experiences and preferences! I've spent nearly up to 300 hundred on a curly hair cut, and I must say all these times of travelling far and wide up into london to seek these specialists I've always left disappointed. I rarely get my hair done since it's so expensive, so when I do it's a real treat that's meant to make me feel good. I'm looking to get a cut and dye. I dont want the typical go to curly hair cut that all these so called experts dish out ( the short round cut with bangs) and preferably I want to stay as close to surrey as possible. Any ideas?

Trepadora in Maidenhead, Berkshire - a lovely spa like salon. If you do fancy a whole day out then James @ Spring Curly Hair Salon in Birmingham (Worth the journey imo). I have been going for years and only need to go once a year for a trim. They are both on Instagram so you can see their cutting style. Just be clear with your stylist on what you like or don't like.

Agree with the above. You may want to look around online for some nice styles that you like, if you haven't already. Get 2 or 3 and discuss with the stylist. It's up to you to decide at the end of the day.

I second @FightTheFrizz for Spring hair although Matt cuts mine (James is lovely though). Fab place or I wouldn't make the 400 mile round trip

To edit my post - I meant Matt! No idea who James is, but I have also had a model cut there which was excellent.

@FightTheFrizz I just looked up the website and it sounds like a dream being able to go to a salon solely dedicated to my hair type however I have a 4 month old and would in no way be able to travel that far from home. I'm from southeast and need something in the surrey region
