Anyone got a chimenea?

I fancy getting one, but am dithering between ceramic and metal. Ceramic looks nice but I wonder about it getting cracked with the heat; also they only seem to sell them with those rather flimsy looking stands, and I'd have thought they might be susceptible to getting knocked over. On the other hand, they seem more straightforward to put together and clean.

What do people who've got them think?

My 16yo clay chiminea has just cracked after a lot of use over the weekend! I’m sad to see it go.
I’ve ordered a metal one now (looks more like a wood burner without a glass door) for a change. Tbh there isn’t much choice atm - most places are sold out!

Have you gone for a modern design or one of those more traditional ones?
