The takeaway delivered to someone else's address thread reminded me of when a friend was out drinking in town and couldn't get a taxi so she ordered some food for delivery to her house, turned up at the takeaway and asked for a ride home with her food They agreed!

I may take a woman who wasn't so drunk I was afraid she'd throw up in my car, mostly because I'd worry about her being alone at night. I wouldn't take a drunk man because as a lone female driver I'd be worried. Thankfully nobody tried this during my recent stint as a delivery driver as covid would have stopped me from considering it.
