Help! Photography/technology question

I have paid a photographer to take some product photos for my online shop. She is a first year student and this is her first paid work as far as I'm aware.

She keeps sending me the images as CR3 files and I can't open them! I have light room, Adobe and photoshop but the bastard things won't open. How can I view them without having to manually convert each one to a .jpg?

They should open fine in photoshop and lightroom, have you tried dragging the file into the software, or go file - open etc?

Yes 😢 I've imported them to light room and it just shows a blue file with the top corner folded down. I've tried on a smartphone, chromebook and apple pc.
