Where to meet?

Can anyone suggest somewhere good to meet outdoors, midway between Kent and Lincolnshire? A day out somewhere nice? I'm rubbish with anywhere north of M25

My friend and I always meet in London- it’s not exactly halfway but it’s easy to get to for both of us on public transport. If you want out of London you could do Cambridge? But it’s a long way from Kent if you’re at the southern end!

Cambridge isn't a bad shout. I have a 3 year old though so looking for something fun to do outside.
