Stop me if this is too exciting, but how do you store your interdental brushes?

You know, the teeny weeny ones the hygienist tells you to use?

Mine and DP’s always end up in this gross wet pile either around the sink or at the bottom of the toothbrush jar Envy (not envy).

What do you do?

@PiratePetespajamas

They look cool, although I was looking for interdental brushes, they just seem to be toothbrushes?

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 05/04/2021 16:10

I store mine in a little medicine measuring cup, the sort for liquid medicines. I do give it a swill to keep it clean.

Lostlittlelady · 05/04/2021 18:21

I usually use mine once but it’s expensive. I’ve just googled it and saw you can get a travel case. Just ordered one

I rinse them and put them in a large soap holder with holes in it so they are not steeped in rancid tooth water.

TrojaninTroy · 05/04/2021 18:24

The receptionist at my dental practice told me to use them until they wouldn't go in any more.

PiratePetespajamas · 05/04/2021 18:36

@SusannaMorvern oh sorry, misunderstood.

Okay, I use these www.thehumble.co/products/bamboo-interdental-brush-blue-6-p

Depends what size you need. I need a super small one (0.4) for some of my teeth and the bamboo one is utterly pants. The bigger ones are fine though, and in fact seem rather more robust than the teepee ones?

SusannaMorvern · 05/04/2021 19:43

@PiratePetespajamas

Those are the ones I've bought at Boots, but I didn't have much luck with them, the finer ones are too flimsy and just bent up whilst using. Which is a shame, as I don't feel comfortable with the amount of waste from plastic ones.

Thighdentitycrisis · 05/04/2021 19:51

I’ve got the brushes and the little rubber ones which came with a little case

@SusannaMorvern yes I agree, the very ginr ones are useless. The others work great though and last well - if you can manage to ram anything thicker between your teeth!

PiratePetespajamas · 06/04/2021 13:53

*fine!!! Not ginr!!
