Medically induced menopause injection - mirena

Hi
Does anyone know if I can keep in the Mirena coil after I have had the induced menopause injection?

There was a lot of information thrown at me by gynae.

I am trying to avoid the trauma of having it taken out. I am suffering with PMDD and recently had Mirena coil fitted and oestrogen gel.

Stopping the oestrogen Seems to have settled me down somewhat so I’m thinking of just leaving the coil in for a while before I have the jab and see how I go

But if I do decide to have the jab off symptoms don’t improve - can the coil stay in or is it counter productive ??

No answers op - sorry - but I'm interested in your comments about oestrogen gel - do you feel it made your pmdd worse??

It’s difficult to know as I had Mirena fitted and started gel all at same time. My symptoms of PMDD seem to have been more frequent throughout the month than what they were before. I’ve only been off the gel 6 days and I had the the most horrific cramping last night (my main symptom of PMDD) I forgot how bad it could actually be ( so maybe the gel was helping)

Hormones - what a damn complex thing they are !!
