Piles of pain TMI

I have a horrible bout of haemorrhoids (due to recent medicine changes) and they are bleeding so badly. I feel dizzy and sick.
Last time I was this bad I ended up in hospital and really don't fancy that in the current times.
Am taking paracetamol and suppositories (tricky because I poo about 12-15 times a day - underlying health condition related).
Does anyone have any other advice? I am getting to the point that I can't do anything.
TIA for any advice

Sounds like you need to treat the underlying problem as I’m not surprised you have them if you go to the loo that often! Is there anything you can do to reduce that? Most people only go up to 3 times a day max and it will be hard to get them to heal if you go that often.

I have UC. It's a horror. Luckily have managed to get a steroid into the pile so feeling somewhat less miserable. Thank you for replying.

Oh good! I do find a sitz bath helps but wasn’t sure if that would be a helpful suggestion or not if they don’t have time to heal inbetween.

Best advice I have is to give them a blast with as cold as you can bare shower. It shrinks them and helps numb the pain. Hope you feel better soon.

You can buy a gadget that you put in the freezer and then stick up your bum. You are supposed to do it regularly and it will shrink them but it did also provide relief when I had piles when pregnant with DC.
