10 weeks pregnant

I’m 10 weeks and 4 day pregnant. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I lost my last one at 12 weeks there was no heart beat. I’ve got my scan in 2 weeks. Yesterday (02/04/2021) I had bleeding, like A light brown. Today i have had some light bleeding bit of spotting on my pants and when I wipe it’s like a light pinkish. I’ve not had cramping, I did have a sore back but I suffer back pain due to sciatica. Any words of help or comfort are welcomed. Trying not to worry as I have read it can be common in first stage of pregnancy. I didn’t have any bleeding with my second and it’s nearly 11 years ago since i had my first child so I can’t recall If I had any bleeding. 🤞🏻

Hope you’re ok, I had a huge bleed in the first few weeks of my 3rd pregnancy...and later discovered i was pregnant with twins and everything was fine. Conversely I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks in my first pregnancy and ni bleeding at all. Try not to worry xx

Funny you say that I am huge for 10 weeks and people keep joking it’s twins! I’m sure all will be ok just hard not to worry. Thank you for replying x

I have bled throughout this pregnancy on and off (spotting some days, big red bleeds at 6 and 10 weeks). It is only just becoming less frequent now at 12.5 weeks but every scan I’ve had so far looks ok. The bleeding is coming from a haematoma which is being monitored but isn’t impacting baby as far as we’re all aware.

I also had frequent bleeding with my DS between weeks 5 and 20 and he’s a healthy almost 4 year old now!

It’s scary but common so hopefully everything is ok for you xx

Have you told your midwife about the blood? They might be able to get you a scan in the EPU sooner than your dating scan to check everything out.

I’ve not had cramping and the bleeding is very light, not like a period bleed. It’s hard not to think the worst. I’m sure it’s nothing. Thank you for replying xx

Yea I phoned yesterday and she said if it got worse to call GP. Where I live there is no sonographer, the nearest hospital for a scan is 65 miles away! Keeping an eye on it and see.
