Puppy bite

My ten week old puppy was playing and I didn’t manage to move fast enough and her tooth went straight into my hand. Pretty sure my tetanus is out of date, do I need a booster?

I had the same thing with my puppy 5 years ago.... pretty sure my tetanus was out of date back then....I’m still alive. Just keep an eye o; it make sure it don’t get infected.

Not sure how a 10 week old puppy would be carrying tetanus as it is mostly found in soil. Keep an eye on it for infection

I was told you don’t need a booster when I had a fish hook go straight through my hand years back.

Thank you everyone. Will keep an eye on it. She definitely does come into contact with soil @Hoppinggreen as she did the garden up and tries to with the plants too!

I would go to a doctor. I know a lawyer who deals with medical issues and he says most common are dog bites. Apparently they often get infected.
