Hi so sorry for my cryptic message yesterday my system uploaded before I had written anything!
I am looking for any info/advice about moving to Shropshire. We have a 12 and 8 year old so one of our main concerns would be schools for both our girls. We live in the South East in Bucks in the Chiltern hills born and bred. As both DH and I don’t need the London links for work we are looking for a slower pace of life in a less competitive environment. We are used to village like (but not too tiny a village)
We are both self employed I am a childminder/Forest school leader but also come from a Nursery management background. We have family in Cheshire and my Niece lives in Wem. So we would like to be close to her. Ideally we are looking at somewhere either between Wem and Shrewsbury or Wem and Market Drayton but would consider other areas. I know that Wem itself may not be ideal with school age children as we have been told it’s quite isolated. Regarding schools we are not overly concerned with the highest pass rate schools but more about the happiness of the environment and pastoral care. Many thanks in advance for any information.
