Zancah · 02/04/2021 15:35

Every day?… only the ones I have to do that include keeping myself or my kids alive, really.
I keep the general mess down to a minimum ie, dishwasher filled, lounge floor cleared and general footfall areas clear but nothing else especially

Mummaofboys93 · 02/04/2021 15:35

Other than having to get up out of bed! Make bed, clean toilet, wash up & wipe sides down, make sofa & hoover multiple times a day as DC5 likes to leave crumb trails wherever he may be & messes up all the cushions on the sofas 😂 Cook dinner which is something I really detest & a toss up between either doing a wash or putting the washing away.

Arrowheart · 02/04/2021 15:37

Dishwasher
Laundry
Mopping
Hoovering
Cooking
Dusting
Ironing
Wiping crumbs from every surface
And repeat

badlydrawnbear · 02/04/2021 15:45

Not many, because some days I am out of the house 6.30am until at least 9.30pm and then put DC to bed so achieve the bare minimum.

Wash up (dishwasher's broken)
Put dry dishes away
Prepare food (sometimes several meals and snacks, sometimes just a packed lunch for the next day)
Laundry
Clear cat shit out of the litter tray

TwoZeroTwoZero · 02/04/2021 16:01

Washing up
Hoovering
Cups of tea

EileenGC · 02/04/2021 16:02

Make bed
Wash up and put it all away before the next round
Clean kitchen surfaces before bed
Put devices to charge, constantly...? Grin

I can’t think of many more chores that need doing daily. Most cleaning and general housekeeping is done either on a weekly basis, or as and when needed.

CuriouslyStardust · 02/04/2021 16:07

Draw and/or paint (pretty essential as an artist)
Practice French
Meditate
Also dishwasher, take out rubbish, cook for the whole family, washing (always so much washing!), feed animals, walk the dog and lots of cups of tea & coffee!

LaBellina · 02/04/2021 16:12

Dishwasher
Hoovering
Stroking the cat and telling her that she is gorgeous
Taking pictures of cat and send them to DH to show him what a feline goddess she is
Eating a banana with cinnamon

dizzydizzydizzy · 02/04/2021 16:22

Meditation
Take pills
Cook
Load and unload dishwasher
Wash up
Clean up kitchen
Wash and dry clothes (ok this one is nearly every day)

Not much. I have Rheumatoid arthritis. DH does the majority of the housework. He disagrees that he is my carer but I believe he is. 💕

On a typical day I have a shower, get dressed, teeth etc. DH has to massage some of my joints or they get too tight. Then go for a walk about 2miles. Rarely 3 but I then need very strong painkillers. (It's worth it to see the local Lambs through) some days 1mile is my limit. If the weather is bad I use my treadmill. 🚶‍♀️

I spend time with my animals. I read & watch programs (if I can concentrate) but rewatching comedies helps.

Bad days. Shower, teeth, fresh pj's, heavy painkillers, back to bed. Hope tomorrow will be better.🛌

But most days I try and do some housework, even if it's just putting a load of washing away and/or cleaning the bathroom sink. Washing up the bits I can, glasses & cutlery etc. It's not a fat lot but it's something. 🤷‍♀️

SweetToffee · 02/04/2021 16:34

Get out of bed for a wee

pinkksugarmouse · 02/04/2021 16:35

Oh and I always make the bed. You never know when you might need it urgently and I couldn't bear having to clear stuff off in an emergency exhaustion situation.

Returnoftheowl · 02/04/2021 17:19

I've set the robot hoover to go around everyday.

UserTwice · 02/04/2021 17:22

Other than things like wash, dress, eat, drink and sleep, I'm not sure I can think of anything I do everyday. Most chores are not done daily, or are shared with others in the house.

Crunchymum · 02/04/2021 17:25

Feed children (how many times depends on if its a school / work day or not but it's often x3 meals a day + snacks!)
Feed cat
Feed myself
Lots of cups of tea (for myself)
Wash up
Brush teeth (twice a day and supervise kids doing the same)
Get dressed (or changed into clean casual clothes if not going out)
Wipe down kitchen sides
Change nappies (for youngest)

MirandaWestsNewBFF · 02/04/2021 17:25

Housework: empty the bins, do a load of laundry, run the dishwasher, make the beds, hoover and clean the loo and bathroom sinks. It sounds like a lot but because it gets done every day it only takes about half an hour to do everything and it keeps the house basically in a good state. At the weekends we all do it; on the weekdays I do it while my husband drives the kids to school.

I also always go for a walk or do a YouTube workout. And I always read to the kids at bedtime.

Crunchymum · 02/04/2021 17:26

Oh and make bed, takes two seconds but makes the whole room tidier.

Susannahmoody · 02/04/2021 17:27

Stare at the wall
Eat dried figs
Talk to myself
Whinge to DH about the neighbours crazy rabid beagle
