French radio or podcasts

Inspired by the thread about French films I decided I would like to listen to some French either radio or podcasts. Can anyone recommend anything? Something light and perhaps current affairs themed would be great but anything really.

I sometimes put on a French news channel while folding the laundry but that’s about it!

Try downloading the Radio Garden app then ‘hover’ over France and you can pick up lots of radio stations. I heard it mentioned on the BBC and you can pick up radio stations all over the world. It’s a lot of fun!

Affaires Étrangères with Christine Ockrent on France Culture. Generally like France Culture and France Inter.

I second France Culture and France Inter. I have an internet radio in the kitchen and often have them on in the background, but you can listen on phone or tablet via their websites.

There’s a really good one called washington d’ici by Washington correspondents for francophone countries. Unfortunately, it’s not being updated anymore, but it’s a really interesting look into American politics and the only podcast - French or English - that I have listened to consistently.

Oh, and heure locale from RTS. By overseas correspondents about the place that they are stationed.

It's a long time ago now but I used to listen to both France Inter and Europe 1 to improve my French listening skills.
