Hi, I froze my eggs when I had just turned 35 because I was single at the time. I'm now 39 and after 20mnths of ttc with my OH we have just had our first round of ivf, which was unsuccessful. My AMH is only 5.2 and we actually only got 1 egg from the ivf cycle, which amazingly made it to a day 5 embryo. Given my terrible response to ivf I'm thinking of trying to use my frozen eggs in the hope that as I was younger then I'd have a better chance. Has anyone been through this? I'd like to get a realistic idea of our chances but the stats out there are a bit misleading as very few people go back to their frozen eggs and fewer were young (ish) and healthy when they frozen them. I froze them in 2017 so they had the fast freeze vitrification that is supposed to be better for successful thawing.
