Shtisel and Jane the Virgin...will I like them?

Been recommended these...so which is the better?

I've not watched Shtisel but Jane the Virgin is very very good. It could have/should have ended earlier but so so many great characters. I have the biggest girl crush on Petra.

Jane the Virgin is a telenovela. Passionate romances, shocking villains, twists and turns and overly dramatic voice overs. It's absolutely brilliant, great characters, lots of emotion, good fun.

Shtisel is really good. Excellent characterisation, a really gentle drama that gets under your skin!

Shtisel is really good, particularly for the insight it gives into the ultra-orthodox culture. The actress who played the lead role in 'Unorthodox' is in it, so that was another pull!

Hi,yes it is in Hebrew and Yiddish but should have English subtitles.

Loved jane the virgin. Could not get into shitznel.

Jane is just brilliant. I was gutted when it ended!
