Does anyone really like their kitchen bin?

I need to buy a kitchen bin. There's no getting away from it being in a prominent position, so I'd like it to look good.

But the stylish ones (I particularly like the Branbantia ones with the tall legs) get terrible reviews - for dints, finger marks, hard to clean, faff to use, hard to get the bag out etc.

Can anyone recommend a lovely stylish kitchen bin? Must open at the top - no pedal bins please.

I have had so many bins that either broke or just weren't practical. Now I've got the Joseph Joseph totem bin and it's fab. The recycling container is more just to keep stuff in and then take it out to the kerbside collection bins every 2 or 3 days.
