Kiwis for insomnia, sleep inducing?

I read that two kiwis an hour before bed are supposed to help you sleep. Has anyone got any experience of this?

I am thinking it could have been an advert for the Kiwi Marketing Board but interested to hear if it works - or anything else for that matter!

Thanks

So this thread isn't about people from New Zealand who can't sleep...

I am in NZ and often struggle to sleep so this thread is a huge disappointment... But I forgive you, OPGrin

Or small nocturnal birds?

I don’t know about kiwi fruit but bananas help - I have banana on toast about an hour before bed if I’m not sleeping well and it helps me.

It was on the truth about sleep by Dr Michael Moseley.
He also suggested morning light
And taking prebiotics before bedtime.

LOL I wondered if there may be a few "New Zealand" replies and damn I have just been shopping and totally forgot to get any Kiwis!

I need to go to Aldi later so will see if they have any. I have tried most things so nothing to lose and I am not low carbing at the moment so fingers crossed!
