Once we are allowed I’m going to have 4 close friends over for some dinner. We haven’t all been together since before Covid. I’m planning on doing Italian food as one is vegetarian and I can make some
Really nice mixes of different home made pasta. I wanted to add some fun to the evening maybe some nice decorations or maybe a fun simple theme (eg ill provide some silly hats) we are all late 20s and love a little bit of fun any suggestions on things to keep us entertained maybe help break the ice for our first girls night

If you are all close friends you shouldn't need to do anything to "break the ice" I would have thought? Just have them over, provide enough booze, maybe have the makings of a signature cocktail to start off with so that your guests have something to do right away when they arrive (any of them into cocktail mixing?) You could go with negronis and olives, grissini and artichoke dip if you're having an Italian night. I also wouldn't bother with more than one pasta if there's only 4 of you, just make a big vat of something veggie like penne alla vodka or pumpkin ravioli with sage, and a nice salad alongside (you could do cos, rocket, pine nuts and dill and feta cheese and avocados to beef it up a bit).

We tend to finish dinners with a spotify sing-along to cheesy 90s music, but that's usually drunken and unplanned...
