When paying for shopping with a debit card at the checkout, and cash back is also asked for, does it then show up on a bank statement?

It's been so long since I did this I cannot remember.

I think it just shows as one transaction

Yeah it shows as one.

So say you went to Asda and your shopping came to £25 and you asked for £10 cash back it would show on your bank statement as "Asda - £35"
