Doctor MN! Breast and nipple thrush. Not BF. Help?

Hello would appreciate some help from any regular thrush sufferers please.

This has recurred once since it finished my BF of dc so I had it 5 years ago and then 2 years ago.

I think I just treat with a flucozamol and put some canesten cream on the nipple. It's just a dull ache, occaisionally and sharp nipple pain in one boob only for now.

I have white on the nipple. Never really went away but must flare up.

I get recurrent thrush anyway so I'm used to it (ouch) but I know from long experience that the pill doesn't really work for me.

Doctor not seeing patients so I'm not waiting for this to get worse. Any advice or suggestions?

It was always difficult now massive PITA to get a phone consult with my GP. They don't call at the appointed time either. I don't want to wait if I could just apply some canesten cream now.

It's definitely thrush.
