Recycling Glasses (reading not drinking)

Slightly boring but I have loads of old glasses, and cases I'm looking to get rid of, is there anywhere that accepts them for recycling?
I have looked at Lions Clubs, and Vison aid overseas and they have either stopped or temporarily stopped accepting them. I have quite a few pairs and loads of cases but I don't really want to throw them away but don't know what else I can do with them.

I've handed them in to Specsavers in the past. Worth checking if they still accept specs for recycling.

They might start taking them again once lockdown restrictions are lifted. Can you hang on to them a bit longer?

Lots of recycling has been stopped due to covid, we have piles of stuff waiting to go. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
They used to have a collection bin in one of the libraries near me, but they arent collecting at the moment either.

Specsavers are still taking them. I asked a couple of weeks ago as I also have a few pairs to take in.

Ask your optician as they often take them

Always taken mine to specsavers. Think they're still accepting them.
