I think I've already OD'd on charoset. Still, it should counteract the effects of the matzah Grin

Who'd have thought a year ago that we'd have a second round of Zoom Seders?

Le shanna habbah with our families and friends.

Hag sameah!

You are not alone...

Your stomach will not forgive you! Grin bloat, bloat, bloat for 8 long days.

This sounds so interesting, please tell us about the food? Do you drink like we do at Christmas or is it a more sedate celebration?

Also, the meaning of Le Shanna habbah and Hag sameah please?

thank you and happy passover (if thats appropriate?)

I'm with you on the charoset op, love it. No matza for me - I guess that's the silver lining of having gluten intolerance 😂

@thebabessavedme shana haba is next year, chag sameach - happy holiday.

Chat sameach. Not a fan of charoset but I have enjoyed the cakes too much

Hag sameah - happy festival/season's greetings

Le shanna habbah - literally means 'to the coming year' but is an expression of our hope for the good things that will happen in the coming year.

The Passover meal is religious service wrapped around a festive meal. The service is done at home, by the family. The service includes songs, readings, games, food and wine, and the children have very important roles to play in it.

Not to share it with family and friends is very difficult.

We drink four tiny glasses of sweet wine as part of the service, and people have regular wine with the meal if they like, just as with any festive meal. But I have never seen anyone get drunk at a Passover meal.

Eat too much, on the other hand, now that's a different matter entirely! Grin
