Where did you get your comfy sofas from?

Looking to buy a 3 and a 2 seater and want to buy some that are as comfortable as possible. Ideally we'd like a corner sofa but it won't fit in the room.

I really want to stretch out on it though, so either a footstool or chaise bit is essential on one.

My most comfy sofa ever was from Loaf. Cost a fortune though And accordingly had to pay to have it restuffed after about 3 years. They are amazing but only if you are prepared to replump every time you get up off it.

I got my 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs over 20 years ago, from Oakridge Direct in Wales. They also do 2 seater sofas.

They delivered it free of charge to me in Scotland. They have washable, removable covers in a jacquard fabric, various colour choices.
Mine are pale cream. (Which might sound impractical, with the 2 DC I had at the time, but they wash beautifully and come up like new).
The look is squashy, shabby chic, and they are incredibly comfortable. I often fall asleep on mine!
I have had one set of new covers since buying them, and will probably need another set in a year or two (I have a cat, who is good about not deliberately scratching furniture, but does occasionally catch a claw in the fabric.
They were very cheap - direct from factory. The company still exists as part of the SofaSofa group, but I haven’t checked current prices for a whole new sofa.
My only quibble was the unbelievably rude, aggressive woman who answered their phone- I hope she’s been replaced!

Yes the loaf sofas look great but we'd never plump them up as needed!

We are lucky enough to live near a retail estate that has five shops, one after the other, selling sofas. DFS, Sofolgy etc. After making the mistake of ordering one online without trying it, as it looked nice, we went out not caring about looks but just wanted comfort.

After and Sofology, we went into Furniture Village, and found a sofa and two snuggle chairs that were ridiculously comfy.

Yes they were expensive, but the quality is excellent and they are just lush to slouch about on. The service was excellent too, and they delivered in a week, although initially they said four weeks.

Multiyork. I don't think anything will ever compare, and they have gone now Sad

Snug. We've got the Cloud Sundae and Footstool and it the most comfortable sofa we've ever had. I have added a couple of big cushions to it as well.

We have a Plush corner sofa from DFS - they are having a half price sale at the moment btw.
