I've hit a wall. I'm done now. I'm fed up. I'm bored. I have zero motivation to do anything. I could clean, tidy, paint, de-clutter, weed, watch telly, catch up on paperwork, do tax return, I can't can't be fucking arsed to do anything. What is wrong with me?!

Why don't you make a dance video a la your username? Toxic or Slave for you my personal favourites! #freebritney

Same. And I have a cold, couldn’t sleep past night because of the wind and my cold and I burned 3 fingers at tea time 😭😭😭.

Have a shower/bath, then go to bed and get a good night's sleep. Treat yourself to no alarm tomorrow and something really nice for breakfast. That helps me get out of a "funk". Hope you feel better soon!

How do make yourself 'have a good nights sleep'? Genuine question, I am equally bored ... been out volunteering this morning, shopping, housework, watched tv, long walk, nice dinner and wine, more tv, read newspaper, faffed about on internet ... would love to sleep well but even though I'm now in bed I don't feel really tired and will probably have a restless night. Confused. Never need to have an alarm ...

That's a nice idea TillyTopper.

Ragwort I go through phases, but I'm sleeping quite well at the moment.

I think it helps if I've had some fresh air during the day.

I use lavender essential oils on my bedding.

I have an air purifier which I am yet to be convinced by, and it's not quiet - but funnily enough, the sound doesn't bother me. Maybe the white noise helps me sleep.

If I'm struggling I have 5mg melatonin for a few days to get back into a better habit.

I put my phone out of reach so I'm not tempted to surf when I can't sleep.

I have windows open so my room is usually 14 or 15 degrees. It's chilly when you walk in but under my duvet, I'm fine. I think this is one of the biggest factors actually.

If my mind starts racing about stuff that's bothering me, I just count my breaths in and out.

Sleep tight! x

Please - actually I did sleep quite well last night Grin, I too always have the window open - my DH can't even share my bedroom as he thinks it is too cold (good - I sleep better on my own!). I use the visualising trick as well ... recently I tried to remember every single home I'd lived in since going to Uni) that was over 40 years ago and with plenty of house moves it was quite a challenge.
