bettertimesarecomingnow · 27/03/2021 19:56

Do you mean how do you find an owner in a row of shops?

Can you ask the shops either side

Or you contact the council?

WorraLiberty · 27/03/2021 19:57

ShowOfHands · 27/03/2021 20:00

Are you very deep in your cups?

SprungisSpringYaY · 27/03/2021 20:01

Oh gosh, I'm sorry.

I was wondering how to contact the owners of a row of shops.

I have a small project in mind and I would need to ask owners.

What have you tried so far? Shop staff would be the obvious starting point.

Umbivalent · 27/03/2021 20:04

Try the Land Registry online.

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 27/03/2021 20:04

What are you hoping to do?

...snd will
The dwarf be helping?

I'd Google the shops & ring the numbers listed.

Veryverycalmnow · 27/03/2021 20:04

Look them up online? Ask on Facebook?

Ask on your town Facebook page who the landlord is.

Some sniggering at your phone, not Too Much as mine has a Tendency, as well...

SprungisSpringYaY · 27/03/2021 20:18

Flibberty I'd like to be discreet.. And it's not my local torn

OP posts:
Umbivalent · 27/03/2021 20:23

Am I talking to myself here? Look it up on the Land Registry online.

TheCanyon · 27/03/2021 20:25

This.

SprungisSpringYaY · 27/03/2021 20:27

Great, no your not talking to yourself um.. I was taken on self detour.

OK, so again how does one do that? Put address in and it comes up for free? With address?

LookItsMeAgain · 27/03/2021 20:34

In Ireland there used to be a thing called Thoms Directory. It listed every street in Dublin and who lived at every number on that street. There would be one compiled for every locality/town.
I don't know if there is or was something similar in the UK

donquixotedelamancha · 27/03/2021 20:38

I have a small project in mind and I would need to ask owners.

I don't think your dwarf will appreciate being referred to as a 'small project'. They have feelings too.

I'm not sure dwarf is an acceptable term either I'm sorry, p. O. R. G.?

The PC term is Leprichaun.
