CAO & Daughter refusing to return

There is a CAO in place but my 14 year-old Daughter is refusing to return to her Father. He is threatening her with the Police if she doesn't, saying they would come and remove her. Unfortunately, he is in another City and her new School, which she hates, is there. What would happen if she didn't return? I have PR and a "live with" Order but he is now their Primary Carer.

I don’t think he can force her to return if you have PR. There’s a thread running in Relationships about a guy refusing to return a very young child. At 14, I’m pretty sure courts would give her a choice. Do you want her to stay? Can you get her into a school? Is it just the school she hates? Can she change schools?

Go back to court and let them hear what she wants.

Let the police attend OP. See what they say. Is there a reason why she wouldn't be safe with you?
