Bar staff to Early Years Practitioner.

I went part time at work to study at college to gain my qualification.

Minkyscamp · 27/03/2021 06:19

@Pebbledashery yes truthfully! I was a barrister for 15 years and finally left to start a new floristry business in March of last year (great timing). I trained alongside my legal work, which was tough but it's obviously not like training for a professional qualification, so I did an intense course and fitted it in using annual leave/evenings.

Solicitor to primary teacher. So glad I made the change. (I’m in Ireland so I think teaching is different in the UK).

Yellowbowlbanana · 27/03/2021 07:23

Sports coach to probation officer

Nichola2310 · 27/03/2021 07:24

Retail manager to accountant. Did my accountancy exams/study at nights and weekends.

I retrained from newspaper journalist to secondary school teacher. I am now back in a media role though 😭 (😭 is for teaching)
