Advice needed please
Daughters father stopped paying back in May last year. He informed CMS that he had been made redundant in the Feb but would continue paying with redundancy pay until May. I was informed by his boss that he was actually furloughed.
Anyways fast toward to yesterday and I recieve a text and update on CMS online stating that they had been provided with evidence that he would be paying again from 11th April
Text said 11th and Online said 1st so I emailed him to clarify. He has got back to me and said that it's all wrong and he has spoken to the CMS and they are going to rectify it.
In the letter is states that he no longer receives jobs seekers allowance and they have calculated his payments to £227 a month this doesn't include arrears.
He is stating that because his job seekers payments have stopped that they have done a random calculation but got it wrong. CMS are saying they have recieved evidence and that's how they have worked out the money.
He won't tell me whether he has a job or not just says speak to CMS
Any advice on this? Has this happened to any one else?
