Can anyone identify this plant?

It's in the wildflower area of my garden, so I'm not going to remove it just because it's technically a weed - but I would like to know what is it, whether it flowers and whether it grows aggressively?

So exciting watching wild stuff come up and waiting to see how it all turns out

Cuckoo pint, also known as lords and ladies, Arum maculatum. It has an interesting, if slightly odd flower followed by toxic red berries. One of the most-often requested IDs at this time of year on a Facebook group I'm on.

Do you think I should get rid of it because of the toxic berries? I have intrepid cats, one of whom is rather stupid

It comes up everywhere - and good luck trying to get rid, I try but the next year it's back! I like a lot of wild flowers but I hate it as you can probably tell :-D

If your garden is like mine, one of those will turn into a thousand in a couple of years! So, if you're worried about your cats I think it's a good idea to dig it up.

It's everywhere here and the cat has never eaten it. I wouldn't worry.
I quite like it as a plant, the flowers aren't exactly pretty, but they are interesting.
